EBCC v Ossett
The first team got underway at South View Road but fell to defeat against Ossett.

Batting first we posted 180 all out with Hamza Saeed scoring 40 from 33 balls and Ben Heritage 36 from 60 balls. They steadied the ship after the fall of an early wicket with a 50 run partnership. Dan Vause Cross also scored 32 from 50.

In reply, Ossett raced to victory from 23 overs with Dan and Hamza picking up a wicket each.

The 1st XI player of the match was Hamza Saeed (sponsored by Apex Elevated Fitness & Wellness) for his 40 and 1/25.

EBCC 2nd XI v Methley
The second team faired much better posting 333/8 from their 50 overs after winning the toss at Methley.
Three players reached passed half centuries with Paul Martin 74 (50), Sam Wilby 58 (59) and Ross Monaghan 57 (55) as the 2nds posted a very competitive total.

In reply Methley reached 218 all out thanks again to Paul Martin who ripped through the Methley top order, securing excellent figures of 5-31. Ross Monaghan backed him up with 3/53 before Rob Barker wrapped it up with 2/35.
