A great opening spell from Reece Clark moving up from the 2nd team helped reduce Hartshead Moor to 4-34 before Jonnie Kuch picked up his maiden 5 wicket haul for the club to reduce Hartshead to 164 all out.

The ever consistent Ben Heritage did what Ben has so been so good at this year and batted through the innings for 60 not out to steer us to victory. Ben was accompanied by Dwayne Heke (29) and Dan Cross (22) as we secured victory with 9 overs to go and secure 20 points.

2nd XI v New Farnley

The 2nds were unable to chase down a first innings score of 227 against New Farnley.
Ross Monaghan 3-32 was backed up by Fahad Khan 2-56 and Michael Flathers 2-57 as New Farnley.

In reply Tom Hoyle (29) got the side off to a flyer scoring 23 off the third over but fell next over. Rob Barker (39) and Paul Martin (20) helped steady the ship. Umar Zubair continued his current good form by scoring 53 as we fell short by 40 runs.
