No u11s fixtures last Sunday due to Eid.

Tuesday evening, the weather got the better of our u11s tie v Buttershaw St Pauls.

This week the following games have taken place:

Wednesday - 19/06
u9s v Gildersome & Farnley Hill
Gildersome batted first and controlled bowling, excellent fielding kept Gildersome to a net score of 32.
In reply, the first two pairs failed to lose a single wicket as we surpassed the Gildersome score with some fantastic shots and running between the wickets.
A comfortable win in the end as East Bierley finished on a net score of 103.

The u9s have played 4, won 3 and 1 abandoned. Currently sitting top of the u9 league.

Thursday - 20/06
U13s v Buttershaw St Pauls
Pushed back to 6:30 start for the England game, it was a nail-biting finish for the East Bierley parents and players as we won off the penultimate ball of the innings.
Buttershaw St Pauls batted first and reached 96-5 from 20 overs.
East Bierley thanks to 30s (retirements) from Tom Shuttleworth and Josh Hoyle steered us to victory.

Another fantastic win with everyone contributing throughout the match.
